The party decide to go back to Port Gardan and find a ship. The idea is to get Gilderoy to buy/acquire one for them.

On the way back, they run into a horse. Glittereye manages to tame it. They also follow the horse’s track to its owner’s camp, who is now dead. Murdered by Sareena.

Kowboi reveals to the party that he gets seasick very easily. He will get disadvantage to all his rolls on the ship.

Once in town, they realize things are bizarre. They first go to Cham’s, who explains the situation. Then they go to Gilderoy’s and see that everything is truly messed up.

Then they go back to Cham’s to come up with a plan to acquire the boat.

The plan is this: Aurelia will go with Cham to a predetermined meeting point with two weeks worth of supplies. Meanwhile, the others will go to the docks to steal a ship. Glittereye will climb the walls and get to the boat. Also meanwhile, Gentil and Saga will distract the guards in front of the Dock Gates while the remaining members of the party will use the invisibility dust to get through.

The only problem is, none of them thought there’d be guards on the boat. Kowboi uses thaumaturgy to cause the water to tremble, which causes some of the guards on the boat to leave. Only two guards are left. The group is able to get into the ship using more invisibility dust.

In the lower deck, they meet M’am, the captain of the ship. They decide to work together to set sail.

This will require them to fend off the guards, while also preparing the ship to set off.
